Obituary of Eldred Alexander Jamieson
JAMIESON, Eldred Alexander- 74 of Havre Boucher died Tuesday January 27, 2004 in St Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Halfway Cove Guysborough Co. he was the son of the late Allan A. and Ethel M. (Ehler) Jamieson.
He worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator and lobster fisherman. He had a great love of the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and ski-dooing. He was a member of Winter Wanderers Ski Doo club. Eldred took great pride in his flower beds and loved to spend time with his family and friends especially when they dropped in for a meal or a good game of cards.
He is survived by his wife Frances (Williams), daughter Donna (Clem) Van Rossum , Antigonish ; sons, Eldred Jr. (Stephanie) Troy, Bruce (Estella) Port Hawkesbury, Richard (Janet MacDonnell) Havre Boucher, Shane (Joannie) Heatherton; sister Edith Roberts, Canso grandchildren; Zachary, Dustin, Ryan, Courtney, Gina, Connor; step grandchildren Samantha, (Jeff) Pike, Derek and Laurie MacDonald; step great grand daughter Madeleine. He was predeceased by brother, Frederick; sister, Ruth Greene.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday in St. Paul's Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral will be 2 pm Friday, January 30 in St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Mulgrave Rev. Michael Conrad & Rev. Katherine Bourbonniere officiating. Burial at a later date.
