Obituary of Joseph Phillip Benoit

BENOIT, Joseph Phillip - 74, Mulgrave/Berwick, died Sunday, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John and Mildred (Greencorn) Benoit. Joe was a retired school bus driver with 23 years of service and a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave. He is survived by his wife, the former Edna Crossman, Wolfville; daughter, Donna (Wayne) England, Kentville; son, Joseph Jr., Wolfville. He was predeceased by brother, James. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral mass 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Father Peter McLeod officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Mulgrave and Area Resting Place.
