Obituary of Chester R. Skinner

SKINNER, Chester R. - 74, Toronto, formerly of Sunnyville, born December 19, 1929, died June 5, 2004. Chester died peacefully in his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by daughter, Sharon Blackstock (Matt); son, Chester Skinner (Caroline); daughter, Sheri McDonald; grandchildren, William (Ashley), Lauren, Ashley, Christine, Michelle, MacKenzie, Mattea; one great-grandchild to be; sisters, Hattie Ashe (Charlie), Monastery; Elizabeth Borden, Halifax; Dorothy Skinner, Toronto; Maude MacLean, New Glasgow; Pearl Skinner, New York; Rita Ash (Bill), Ella Skinner, both of Antigonish; brother, Thomas (Shirley), Boylston. He was predeceased by brothers, Norman, Wilfred, John; grandson, Ryan Blackstock. Visitation will be at the family residence in Sunnyville after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Sunnyville United Baptist Church, Rev. Pauline Coffin officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
