Obituary of Mona Elizabeth Haines

HAINES, Mona Elizabeth - 81, Little Dover, Guysborough Co., died Friday, January 30, 2004, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Little Dover, she was a daughter of the late William and Bertha (Horne) Casey. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Agnes Parish, Little Dover, and a former member of St. Anne Society and Dover Bay Seniors Club. Surviving are her husband, John Haines; daughters, Ruth (Jerome) Keefe, Little Dover; Judy Rossong, Yellow Marsh; Lillian (Donald) Armsworthy, Canso; sister, Rose Casey, Little Dover; brothers, Roy, Scott, both of Little Dover; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by infant daughter, Mary Theresa; granddaughter, Wendy Rossong; brothers, Bill, Reg, Leo; sister, Gladys. Visitation was held Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass 11 a.m. today in St. Agnes Church, Little Dover, Rev. Daniel Boudreau officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
