Obituary of Georgette Odette Hogan

HOGAN, Georgette Odette - 80, Port Hawkesbury, died Saturday, May 15, 2004, in Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Rimouski, Que., she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Burgess. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Port Hawkesbury, an avid bridge player, and enjoyed bingo. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her husband, John, Port Hawkesbury; sons, Dr. Daniel J. (Lorette), Shreveport, La.; Dr. David B. (Janet), Calgary; grandchildren, Corey and Jennifer. She was predeceased by a sister and four brothers. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury, Rev. Hughie D. MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Rimouski at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
