Obituary of Donald Gordon Feltmate

FELTMATE, Donald Gordon - 84, Steeves Road, Intervale, N.B., and formerly of Canso, died Saturday, October 30, 2004, in The Moncton City Hospital. Born in Canso, he was a son of the late Patrick and Sadie (Berrigan) Feltmate. He was a retired fish plant worker. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Canso and a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Canadian Army. He is survived by brother, Russell (Betty), Dartmouth; nieces, Sheilia (Douglas) Haines and Maureen (Peter) Woods, both of Dartmouth; and Debbie Brown, Bridgewater. He was predeceased by brother, Joseph; and sister, Marion MacKay. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m., both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso, Rev. Leonard Oracheski officiating. Burial in Fourth Hill Cemetery, Canso. Donations in memory of Donald may be made to St. Paul's United Church.
