Obituary of Clothilda “Tillie” STUBBARD

STUBBARD, Clothilda 'Tillie' - 77, Port Hawkesbury, died Friday, August 5, 2005, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (MacPhee) Bonnar. Tillie was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Port Hawkesbury, and a member of the Evergreen Senior's Club. Surviving are daughters, Sandra (Don) McLean, Cold Lake, Alta.; Donna (Paul) Losier, Allardville, N.B.; Deborah (Jim) Hayes, Port Hawkesbury; son, George Jr. (Lorraine), Port Hawkesbury; sister, Mary (George) Walker, New Waterford; half-sisters, Greta and Tootsie; both of Toronto; grandchildren, Scott McLean, Chantale Judge, Vicki Stubbard, Christopher McLean, Martin Hayes, Bryan Stubbard, Jamie Hayes; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Alexander, and Jenna. She was predeceased by her husband, George Sr.; sister, Laura Hanrahan; brother, Thomas Jr.; grandson, Dereck. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today with vigil service at 8:30 p.m. both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. By the request of Tillie, no flowers please.
