Obituary of Pauline Theresa McNamara

McNAMARA, Pauline Theresa - 71, Port Hawkesbury, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, in Richmond Villa, St. Peter's. Born in Port Hawkesbury, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie (MacIntyre) Ryan. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Port Hawkesbury. Surviving are daughters, Donna (Roger) Tremblay, Kempt Road; Theresa, Sharon King, both of Port Hawkesbury; Noreen (Naish) Vassallo, Hamilton, Ont.; Brenda (George) Wright, Port Hawkesbury; Tanya (Brad) MacRae, Enfield; sons, Vernon (Irene), Gary (Margie), Kevin, Lorne (Patricia), all of Evanston; Mitchell (Michelle), Prince Edward Island; sisters, Sarah Dorton, Mary Embree, Margaret MacKinnon, all of Port Hawkesbury; Anne Laffin, New Glasgow; Elizabeth Ryan, Trenton; 24 grandchildren; one great-grandson. We would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff and residents of the Richmond Villa for the wonderful care provided to our mother in making the Villa her home. She was predeceased by stepsister, Adelia MacDonald; brothers, Daniel R., Ambrose, Stephen, Wilfred, Patrick, Sylvester, Joseph, Anthony, Leo, Thaddeus. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. this evening, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, with vigil service at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, all in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in parish cemetery at a later date.
