Obituary of Glenda P. MacDonald

MacDonald, Glenda P. - 38, of Whycocomagh, died Friday, March 26, 2004, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Donald F. and Nellie Beulah ( Blair ) Gould. She was a front desk manager at Inverary Inn. She is survived by sisters, Jean Stroh, London, Ont.; Marie Gould, Kitchener, Ont.; Donna Cunningham, Oshawa, Ont,; Elaine Fitt, Stellarton; brothers Walter Gould, Whycocomagh; John (Helen) Gould, Sylvester. She will also be sadly missed by her cats, Seamus, Benji, and Hannah. She was predeceased by husband, Wayne. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m., with funeral mass at 3p.m., both today in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, We'koqmaq ( Whycocomagh ), Father Bernie MacDonald officiating. Interment at a later date in Stewartdale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness County Palliative Care Society, SPCA or Stewartdale Cemetery.
