Obituary of Joseph Roderick MacLean
MacLEAN, Joseph Roderick - 54, River Denys Station, died Friday, September 17, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in River Denys Station, he was a son of Jessie C. (Campbell) MacLean, River Denys Station, and the late Roderick A. MacLean. He was a machine operator and a member of St. Dionysius Parish, River Denys Station.
He is survived by his sister, Mary (Ernie) MacLean, South Side River Denys; brothers, Sam (Joan), Baddeck; Jack (Lynn), Qualicum, B.C.; Francis (Marianne), Whycocomagh; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh.
Funeral mass 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Dionysius Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
Donations in memory of Joe may be made to the Canadian Diabetes association or the Building Fund of St. Dionysius Church.
