Obituary of Jessie Catherine MacLean
MacLEAN, Jessie Catherine - 87, River Denys Station, Inverness Co., died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Glencoe Mills, Inverness Co., she was a daughter of the late Samuel T. and Mary Kate (MacEachern) Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Dionysius Parish, River Denys Station. She is survived by daughter, Mary (Ernie) MacLean, Southside River Denys; sons, Sam (Joan), Baddeck; Jack (Lynn), Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island; Francis (Marianne), Whycocomagh; sisters, Mary MacDonald, Annabelle (Steve) MacKenzie, both of Sydney; brothers, Joe (Kaye) Campbell, Angus (Isabelle) Campbell, both of Toronto; Alex Hughie Campbell, Sydney; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roderick; son, Joseph; sister, Christy 'Tena' Richards; brothers, Donald, John Willie, Dougald, and John Norman in infancy.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Dionysius Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
