Obituary of Theresa Ann MacMaster
MacMASTER, Theresa Ann - 75, Port Hawkesbury, formerly of Princeville, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 12, 2005. Born in Princeville, Inverness Co., she was a daughter of the late John Hugh and Margaret 'Maggie' (MacIntyre) MacMaster. She was a member of St. Margaret's Parish, West Bay Road. Theresa brought joy to all who knew her and found happiness in everything around her. She loved to spend her days with her colouring books and proudly displayed her teddy bears on her bed every morning. She helped care for three generations and loved sharing her stories with everyone. She also loved her road trips to Halifax to visit her great great-nephews. Theresa will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by her family, Freda and Rick MacMillan, Tammy (Mike) Wohler, Tracey (Chris) Sturmy, Shauna MacMillan, Thomas (Krista Levangie) MacMillan, John Richard Wohler, Joshua Sturmy and Ryan Wohler. She is survived by her nephews, Howard (Karen), Michael and Johnathon Hines. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Catherine (Tom) Hines. In her early life Theresa was lovingly cared for by her brother-in-law, the late Tom Hines and his wife the late Mary Ann Hines. Theresa was also predeceased by her nephew, John Hugh Hines, and niece, Mary Judith Hines.
Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, West Bay Road, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
