Obituary of Fraser Donald MacLeod

MacLEOD, Fraser Donald - 62, Estmere, Victoria Co., died suddenly Tuesday, June 21, 2005, in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in North Sydney, he was a son of the late Norman J. and Catherine (Gillis) MacLeod. Fraser was a heavy equipment operator and worked in construction all his life. He was a member of Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, a member of Causeway Shrine Club, Sircom Lodge No. 66, Whycocomagh; Keystone Chapter No. 24, Philae Temple, Halifax, and Cape Breton Preceptory No. 43, Sydney. He is survived by his wife, Georgina (Fisher); stepchildren, Marguerite (Myron) Nicholson, Bucklaw; Audrey (Keith) MacCuspic, Hunters Mountain; John G. (Ardith) MacInnis, Baddeck Inlet; sisters, Christine Jederman, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.; Norma Skinner, Sydney; Ethel Murray, Portage; Betty (Clifford) Roberts, Baddeck; Helen (Charles) MacPhee, Big Baddeck; sister-in-law, Elsie MacLeod, Estmere; nine stepgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Malcolm 'Mac'; brothers-in-law, Hans Jederman, Ernie Skinner, and Lewis Murray. Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. today with a Masonic service 7 p.m., both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday in Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, Rev.
