Obituary of Neil C MacLean
MacLEAN, Neil C - 63, Port Hawkesbury. It is with great sadness that the family of Neil C announce his sudden death at home on Saturday, November 26, 2005. Born in Scotsville, he was one of 10 children born to the late Neil Allan and Dollie (MacQuarrie) MacLean. Neil C was a professional engineer who graduated from St. F.X. University and TUNS and was retired from STORA. He took part in various organizations over the years, relishing in the camaraderie and friendship of others. If you wanted to talk about anything he usually had some thoughts on the matter and especially enjoyed a good debate regarding politics. Neil C was a fiddle player who greatly enjoyed Celtic music and had respect for his Scottish heritage. He took immense pride in his wife and children and all of their accomplishments. In recent years he loved having his young grandchildren around and took great pride in their laughter and teasing. They will all dearly miss their 'Pops'. His dog Duke will sadly miss his master, companion and friend. The family and friends of Neil C will miss their husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He touched many lives with his humour and wit.
