Obituary of Mary MacIsaac
MacISAAC (MacDonald), Mary - 77, Port Hood/Lower Sackville, passed away July 13, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Port Hood, she was a daughter of the late Laughie James and Margaret (Graham) MacDonald. In her early years Mary worked at Moir Factory in Halifax. In 1961, she moved to Toronto and worked at Reliable Toy for 13 years. After the passing of her husband in 1974, she moved back to Port Hood. She is survived by daughter, Anna (John) MacLeod, Lower Sackville; sister, Annie Laurie Beaton, Port Hood; grandchildren, Wanda (Steve Doiron), Clayton Park; Wesley, Lower Sackville; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph MacIsaac; brothers, D.D. and John, and a sister in infancy.
Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Port Hood Community Funeral Home. Funeral mass 11 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Father Charlie Cameron officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
