Obituary of Eileen Bridget McIsaac

McISAAC, Eileen Bridget - 91, Hazel Hill, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Canso, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Cooney) Watkins. Eileen was a registered nurse, graduating from St. Martha's School of Nursing in 1938. She was a supervisor at St. Martha's Hospital and retired from nursing in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. She was a member of Star of the Sea Parish, Canso; former member of the C.W.L. and a member of the Canso Curling Club. Surviving are niece, Eileen Morrissette, Florida; nephew, Ray Watkins, Montreal, Que.; three grandnieces. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Neil; sister, Kathleen; brothers, Edward, William, Raymond and Frank. Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only.
