Obituary of Gail Frances Muise
MUISE (Smith), Gail Frances - 44. It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and sister, Gail Frances Muise of Bedford, formerly of Whycocomagh, Inverness Co. Gail was the youngest in the family of the late Marie and Alden Smith (Whycocomagh).
Gail was employed as a cashier with Superstore in Bedford and would brighten everyone with her smile. She graduated from Whycocomagh Consolidated High School and attended Truro Business College. She was well known for her great sense of humour and dry wit and also had an interest in crafts and was an avid hockey mom. Gail's pride and joy were her children and took a great interest in all of their endeavors. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Whycocomagh, and a former choir member.
Gail is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Orr; sons, Nicholas Wayne, Jonathan Alden, Ryan Francis, Jonathan Orr and Graham Orr; daughter, Cassandra Marie; sisters, Judith Anne Malcolm, Port Hawkesbury; Linda Susan (Eddie) Lewis, Saint John, N.B.; Lorna Doone (Victor) MacDougall, Whycocomagh; Gloria Dawn Smith (Paul Lyon), Fall River; brother, Alden Roger Smith, Whycocomagh, who helped her through life's difficult times. Gail will be sadly missed by her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brother, John Andrew.
Visitation will be 7-9 this evening, and 2-4, 7-9 Saturday, February 21, both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service 3 p.m. Sunday, February 22, in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. Floyd McPhee officiating. Interment in Stewartdale Cemeteryat a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Atlantic Division, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, St. Andrew's Church or a charity of choice.
