Obituary of Casilda Mary Richard

RICHARD, Casilda Mary - 70, River Bourgeois, passed away peacefully Monday, March 1, 2004, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. She was a daughter of the late James A. and Theresa (Bourque) Sampson. She was a retired employee of Decca Marine, Dartmouth. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, River Bourgeois, the CWL, Seniors Club and Seniors Literacy in Action. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Fabian; children, David, Dartmouth; Theresa (Paul) Owens, Riverton; Paul (Lorraine), Brampton, Ont.; grandchildren, Tracy, Tanya, Robin, Tiffany, Patricia, Marcus, Katie; great-grandson, Alexander; brother, Garvie (Peggy) Samson, Dartmouth; sister, Marguerite (Hubert) Fougére, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by two sons in infancy. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home. Funeral mass 11 a.m. Friday in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Father Reg Currie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society.
