Obituary of Lawrence Alexander Pardoe

PARDOE, Lawrence Alexander - 65, Bucklaw, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. He was a son of the late John and Rosa (Blewer) Pardoe. Lawrence was a retired mechanic and an adherent of Little Narrows Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Hilda Garland; son, John Alexander, Bucklaw; stepsons, Ian (Sylvia) Nicholson, Baddeck; Monty (Brenda) Nicholson, Baddeck; sisters, Audrey Pardoe, Aberdeen; Delores Comeau, Cape Pele, N.B. Also left to mourn are grandchildren, Sonja, Samantha, and Ethan Battiste; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jimmy, Murdock and Gordon; niece, Mary; nephews, Carl and Alexander. There will be no visitation. Graveside service will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Little Narrows Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Sharpe officiating.
