Obituary of Mary Elizabeth “Maisie” Meagher

MEAGHER, Mary Elizabeth 'Maisie' - 89, Whiteside, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2004, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Whiteside, she was a daughter of the late Hughie Dan and Catherine (MacIntyre) MacDonald. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Parish, Whiteside. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are daughters, Jeanette (Wayne) Fram, Ancaster, Ont.; Mary (Ron) McInnis, Grimsby, Ont.; Collen (Terrance) Hourigan, Burlington, Ont.; sons, Tommy (Barbara), Whiteside; Frank, Toronto; grandchildren, Janet, Danny, Stephanie, Ruth, Chrissie, Aaron, Jamie, Jenny, Katie, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Laura, Angela, Shannon, Ryan, Christen, Bradley, Tommy, Brooklyn. She was predeceased by husband, Bernard; brothers, Angus and Danny; sisters, Marcella MacCuish, Janet Power and Josie MacDonald. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Whiteside, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
