Obituary of Lenore Gunn

GUNN, Lenore - 99, Melrose, Mass. and St. George's Channel. Lenore passed away peacefully at home at 99 years of age, on Wednesday, September 8, 2004. Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Captain Elijah and Kate (Campbell) Diamond. She was an adherent of the Black River United Church. Surviving are her son, David L., St. George's Channel; daughter, Kendra M. (C.M.) Nedjar, Melrose, Mass.; granddaughter, Tamara Nedjar; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Irving; brothers, Clement, Ralph, Clifford; sisters, Gladys and Christine. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the home of her son, David Gunn, St. George's Channel. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Black River United Church, Rev. Fran Six officiating. Cremation to follow. Burial will be in MacKay Cemetery at a later date. No flowers by request.
