KEEFE (MacPherson), Sadie Florence - 89, Port Hawkesbury, formerly of River Denys and Sydney. It is with saddened hearts the family announces the passing of Sarah, on Sunday, November 7, 2004, in Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Roderick and Wilena (Smith) MacPherson. Surviving are daughters, Ruth (Bernie) MacLean, River Denys; Norma MacDonald, Tewkesbury, Mass.; Charlotte Gately, Milford, Mass.; Judy Warren, Toronto, Ont.; Peggy Keefe, Verdun, Que.; Phyllis Morrison, Calgary, Alta.; Coleen MacPherson, Hamilton, Ont.; son, Jack (Nancy) MacPherson, Halifax; sister, Phyllis (Charles) Mann, Daytona, Fla.; brothers, Gordon (Lil), Westmount; Melvin, Sydney; Fraser (Mary Lee), North Sydney; Donald (Sheila), Sydney; 31 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Archibald 'Happy'; grandson, Robert Gately; brothers, Kenny, Norman, Murdock, Clifford, Harold, Johnny, and Roy. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Forbes United Church, River Denys, Rev. Fraser MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in Fir Grove Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sadie may be made to Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home or Fir Grove Cemetery.
