Obituary of Myrtis Elizabeth Dort

DORT,Myrtis Elizabeth - 67, Guysborough, formerly of Cook's Cove, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Roachvale, she was a daughter of the late William and Myrtle (Porter) Horton. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Anglican Church, Guysborough. Surviving are daughter, Donna (Stephen) Vaux, Lanark; son, Douglas (Donna), Cook's Cove; brothers, Edgar, Roachvale; George, Guysborough; grandchildren, Jenna and Vanessa. She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; sister, Marion Worth; brothers, Billy and Howard. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 9, in Christ Anglican Church, Rev. Michael Conrad officiating, assisted by Rev. Tory Byrne. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
